Howdy...I'm a frequent poster over at Knobbe, as well as having run several leagues over at Tecmo.us. Ouch, my skin started to burn as I typed that. Weird, that doesn't happen when I type that on other forums...
Anyways, since I'm on good terms with both TDO and Rod, I felt it was time I showed Rod some respect and finally signed up for an account here. Since I'm currently running the only SNES league which, unfortunately is in the off-season slow period, I've decided to focus my energy on some non-Tecmo related projects. I'm an avid poster over at Dee-Nee.com (RBI) and I've created a couple new projects, one being a 30-Team 2010 ROM (thanks to jstout for making 30 teams a possibility) which has gotten pretty positive feedback. I also lead a project over there where we rated the remaining 16 teams from 1987 to create a 26 team RBI ROM.
In the process, I registered and created rbibaseball.us, and from there, I decided to extend that into an RBI Player's Circuit (much like the TPC for Tecmo). All this was an effort to infuse the bustling online world of Tecmo into the bustling, but not so much bustling online world of RBI. It's going pretty slow, but I'm running tourneys and helping people get setup with Nestopia to try and get this thing going. We'll see if it ever picks up. My goal is to eventually run an RBI league that doesn't die a painful death.
Why the fuck am I posting this RBI stuff on a Tecmo forum? Couple reasons. I needed an intro post and had nothing Tecmo related to say, and your fearless administrator loves RBI, so I knew he'd be cool with it.
Anyways, I'm attempting to grow the online RBI thing, so if anyone's interested, check out the RPC, or maybe start some conversation about a league or something. I don't know...anyways, thanks for reading, PT fools.
